Do you remember those commercials with John Hodgman and Justin Long where they would sort of fight about whether PC or Mac was a better computer? (If not, here is an example; forewarning, this is about 40 minutes long lol.)
As far as my computer goes, I have always been on the PC side. Never wanting to switch over because of this reason or that. I’ve always used PC and just never wanted to change and learn something new.

Well, up until today that is. I purchased my first ever MacBook! Yes! I’ve officially joined the Dark Side lol. Even though technically I was halfway into the Dark Side already. I already have an iPhone and an iPad, I just needed the Mac to complete the collection lol.
The MacBook that I purchased is the MacBook Air 13-inch. I purchased it directly from the Apple Store and went in to pick it up after ordering it online. I chose it for its power as well as its portability for when I travel.
I’ve been using it for the last few hours (wrote this blog post on it) since I brought it home and I can already tell that I love it so much more than my PC. It’s actually a lot easier to use then I thought lol.
Here it is after using it for the last few hours. I have changed the wallpaper from the default one, removed items from the Dock I wasn’t using and added the things I wanted. I also downloaded Google Chrome and Spotify.
I’m still trying to figure out what I need and what I want on the computer as far as apps go. But I will get there eventually!
