My Bullet Journal

Planner Peace is a big thing in the Planning community. Everyone talks about it, and everyone has it. What is Planner Peace you might be asking?

The basic and easy definition of Planner Peace is when you find the planner or planning system that works the best for you and your lifestyle. For a more detailed definition, you can check out this post here on Philofaxy.

Trying to find Planner Peace has been tough! I still don’t think that I have found it yet, but I’m still looking.

I decided that this year (2017) I would try out the Bullet Journal system. I was thinking that it would be better for me because I could combine everything I wanted into one system, as well as create my own layouts or use printables!

The Bullet Journal (or BuJo) was created by Ryder Carroll. It is a combination of a Planner, a To Do List, a To Buy List and so much more. The basics on how to set it up and use it can be found on Ryder’s website at bulletjournal.com, but you can make it your own by drawing, coloring, etc in it.

To get started, I purchased a dotted purple Leuchtturm 1917 notebook off Amazon, because that’s what everyone was using.

Let me just say right now, that you do not have to purchase one of these to start with, you can use any notebook you want, even just a cheap one from the dollar store.

Here is the exact one I purchased. I also purchased a pack of Sharpie pens to use to make my layouts:

I already had washi tape and stickers from my old planner, so I didn’t need to purchase anything else.

I have used my BuJo as more of a list and collections book than a planner because I do not like the idea of having to draw my layouts every week. I do it because I need to, but I hate it lol. (Printables are life!)

This is why I think that I do not have Planner Peace yet. I have ideas of what I want to do, but those will come at a later time.

I did want to show you some of my current set up however, please feel free to look through the photos below and let me know what you think! Please note that this is not all of my pages, I left out the blank spreads and the weekly/monthly layouts.

*Photos will be added soon, have to redownload them from the old blog*

I hope this gave you some ideas for your own Bullet Journal!

Do you use the Bullet Journal system? If so, how do you like it?
